Clean facilities with wet bathrooms provide a straightforward experience. Cash payment required, ensuring straightforward transactions without card fees.
Rooms are quite small, reminiscent of youth hostels, which means limited space for luggage. Thin duvets left some guests chilly at night, and the paper-thin walls made for early wake-ups from breakfast preparations. Breakfast area also cramped on busy days, leading to a bit of a scramble for seating.

We loved how the hosts went out of their way to help us, like making us delicious sandwiches for breakfast and even carrying our luggage to the taxi! The cozy garden was a great spot to relax. We enjoyed chilling in the TV room after a long day. The only downside was that restaurants were a bit of a walk away, but it was totally worth it! 😊

DoranDoran guesthouse felt just like home. The warm and friendly atmosphere made my stay really special. Breakfasts were a highlight, with fresh fruit and eggs that I cooked myself. Sitting around the table with other travelers created a lovely shared experience. The triple room was cozy and comfortable despite its small size. The modernized Hanok style with a beautiful courtyard added charm. The location was unbeatable. right across from the observatory and near major historical sites. However, parking was a bit challenging, especially during peak seasons like Cherry Blossom time. Finding parking at the nearby Abalone Restaurant was a must since the free parking was often full. I also wished the towels were a bit larger for comfort. Overall, the small inconveniences didn’t overshadow the memorable moments I had here.
